Amanda Hosea – Vice President of Business Development
Amanda Hosea is the Vice President of Business Development at OneRelo Worldwide. Amanda has worked diligently over the past three and a half years developing the commercial side of the business which has expanded OneRelo’s capacity to two additional warehouse spaces within the last two years totaling over 90,000 sq ft of warehouse space. She has expanded her role to include sales for household goods moves.
Amanda started her professional career as a school teacher and taught at the elementary level for six years before deciding to make the “move” to OneRelo. She attributes many of her professional skills to her early years of teaching. Amanda displays many of the characteristics that you would want when working in the moving, storage, and logistics business: problem solving, planning and preparation, great organization and communication skills. She graduated with her Masters degree in teaching.
Amanda has overseen several large scale projects OneRelo has completed in the Reno/Sparks and Lake Tahoe region. Part of her process when working with a client is to first sit down and discuss their needs – whether warehousing and storage, deliveries, installation, debris removal, LTL or TL shipments, office moving, industrial moving, hotel FF&E projects, interstate moving, or international moving. She will create a detailed plan to help achieve the clients goal.
Some of the projects that Amanda has been a part of are the furniture warehousing and installation of 600+ rooms of student housing at UNR, installation of furniture and gaming at the Legends Bay Casino, the warehousing and deliveries of a new Winco store, as well as several prominent hotels around Lake Tahoe.
In her spare time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, working out, working with horses, and binge watching The Office.
